YIDUO (DAISY) ZHANG

IMG_2496.jpeg

Yiduo Zhang is an artist whose practice spans sculpture, painting, installation, and digital design, exploring identity, cultural heritage, and the tension between belonging and alienation. Drawing on personal experiences across three continents, her work examines the fragility and resilience of identity in a fragmented, fast-paced world. Using tactile materials like clay, resin, and wood, as well as interactive technology, she creates spaces for introspection, encouraging viewers to reconnect with their senses, histories, and individuality amidst societal pressures toward efficiency and conformity. Her work blends traditional and modern techniques, fostering dialogue about cultural preservation and self-discovery.
