This multimedia interactive installation, reimagines the Buddhist Six Consciousnesses, where the five senses and the mind intertwine. Sculptures of eyes, ears, nose, tongue, and fingers, formed from clay and resin, serve as ingredients in Chinese street food. Each dishes name carries a subtle irony, a reflection on the disconnection we experience daily. The Six Sense Eatery, existing only in the digital space of 108 Mott Street in NYC, offers a rare stillness—a pause in time where all six consciousnesses awaken. Here, the food allows guests to experience the totality of all 108 sensory states in Buddhism, inviting reflection on the true nourishment found in mindfulness and connection.
